DLT Magazines

We are delighted to confirm that Hoe Bridge School is our #clientofthemonth! Hoe Bridge has been on board with us for 10 years(!!!) ensuring their students have a steady supply of magazines in their library.

Hoe Bridge is a long-established, thriving, independent co-educational through school on the outskirts of Woking, for children aged 2 to 16 years. The school occupies unique and historic grounds: a stunning 22-acre estate with fields, meadow, woods, river and pond, representing a hidden gem in the heart of Surrey.

The school was awarded ‘Excellent’ in all areas in March 2023 by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI).

Evidence suggest that wider access to a variety of reading materials positively impacts reading attainment levels. A 2023 Department of Education study exploring library use in over 17,000 children aged 8 to 16 found that of the 44% of children who used the library, over half said it was because the library had “interesting reading materials”. Some libraries have reported increases in reading material circulation when adding comics to their collections.

Head of Key Stage 3 English, Prep, Emma Hodgkiss recently reviewed the service provided by DLT Media

“DLT provide a very quick and efficient service. I emailed with a query on a recurring magazine subscription for our school facilities and my query was addressed, action taken and completed all within a few hours and with ease.”

Other than the savings of up to 70% off cover prices, one of the great features of the magazine service is schools can change their selection of magazines as frequently as they want, with no change to the monthly cost, so schools can accommodate students requests really quickly.

Build a flexible magazine pack to join Hoe Bridge School and let us help you get more of your students into reading for pleasure.
